What is IRS 1099-NEC Form Online
We were made aware that the IRS has added 1099 NEC Form Online to the Combined Federal State Filing (CF/SF) program. This program is planned to relieve the burden of filing 1099s directly with states since the IRS forwards 1099s filed federally to contributing state agencies. At this point, Many states and the District of Columbia still have their own direct reporting requirements for the 1099-NEC that are not pleased by the combined federal/state filing. Also, a subset of states does not share in CF/SF, including Iowa, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
